Hi all My SimBaby works fine via connection from laptop to baby & compressor. I'm struggling to get the patient monitor to connect. Any tips? There are so many blooming wires I feel like i'm drowning in cables! haha

Are you just struggling to get the monitor to connect in general or is it the touch screen that is not working?
Are you connecting straight to the sim baby laptop or do you have a different set up in your simulation area?
And is it a big old tech monitor, laptop or a new almost tablet like monitor?
Bit of a late reply sorry.

Its the old SimBaby set up with its laptop in the control room & the Elo monitor screen on a wall. I may have to photograph it because all the under wiring under the floor is ridiculous! >.<

So some or all of this you may well know and have looked at but lets go back to basics. the laerdal laptop should have extended desktop set up when the simbaby software starts it automatically looks for the extended display (monitor) to display the vitals on connect the laptop to your monitor by 15 pin VGA cable (if you show the vitals in your AV system you'll need to split the signal from the laptop to both the AV system and the monitor) for touch screen, you need to connect the laptop to the monitor by usb (we connect ours: usb to ethernet to usb again because of the distance between devices) make sure the monitor is powered up and on before the laptop, that way the laptop sees the monitor when it starts up and starts the ELO software so that the touchscreen works if touch screen doesn't work, look on laptop in bottom right corner, click on the ELO icon and select "enable touch" if monitor not showing anything, get any known working monitor and known working VGA and connect them directly to the simbaby laptop on your desk, to see if you get the vitals on this screen. If so, you have a cabling issue to the wall monitor, if not you have a laptop issue, possibly extended desktop issue, vga port issue
got to go now, work calling, but if you have skype or similar, cisco spark maybe, myself of admiral snackbar wcan help you more directly

Could be worth a few pictures of your general layout and set up in the area as well as the connections you have with your sim baby
