Hi guys.
Can I ask how you get over the feedback issue when using the voice conference app to speak as SimMan 3G?
We ran our first scenario where there was a lot of patient communication yesterday. Normally our scenarios involve a patient who is unconscious or anaesthetised already. Anyway, we were listening to the students via SMOTs and being the voice of the patient via the SimMan instructor laptop. The feedback was unreal and we ended up in a loop of speaking then hearing ourselves several times along with all the screechy feedback noise.
What are your setups like?

we have a push to talk mic, run through pre amp, to a seperate speaker on the floor beneath the patient. the advantage of the mic is you need to be really close to it and directly in front of it, like 2 inches away, for it to pic up the sound so no feedback at all
we also have a nordic soundboard that works ok for speech but not great however it does have a bluetooth speaker, that maybe an option to look at, i wonder if you could bluetooth connect phone or tablet to the speaker and use that?
