just had a go at making SimMan Essential look more like he is spontaneously breathing whilst intubated and waking up from an anaesthetic. i.e. have the reservoir bag on the circle system deflate slightly as his chest rises. actually was fairly straight forward, disconnected the lines to the bellows in the chest, connected them via a couple of adapters and some anaesthetic machine tubing, out the groin to a bag valve mask at the bottom of the bed and hey presto, a manually operated system that deflates the the reservoir bag, job done !

Had to develop and alternative which is less discrete but allows for both
