so we just took delivery of SimNewB the other day and have to say without making a direct comparison side by side (yet) that he looks awfully similar to SimBaby, maybe a few inches bigger. Has anyone else used SimNewB and whats the differences you've found. I see we have a SimPad to go with him so that should be pretty good, the compressor is about 1/2 the size of SimMoms which is great too. Centres pretty busy for the next few weeks so might be while til we get a chance to get him out and play with him, sorry learn what he does and how we control him

ah well, sitting here in Laerdal central in Orpington, SimNewB is smaller, obviously as it's a new born.
2 cracking days here learning about SimMom, SimJunior and the SimPad.

so, we found a few limitations when using the simpad on the course recently. all vitals are changed instantly, theres no trend or change over X seconds or X minutes which is a little annoying. Anyone else with more experience able to confirm or demonstrate otherwise?

Can you program in a couple of trends to start when you want them rather than changing the individual bits?
Like call one increase heart rate - save it as a trend add a 'button' to the simpad view in simdesigner, by adding "start HR trend" as a related event in your own group of treatments which you would create Then it would be there for you to do a one touch start to whatever you had put in.
Does that make sense?
