Can you share your secret from above Scott? I'm looking to get a maculopapular rash on a few manikins for next week.

as per email, if you can get your hands on tegaderm or similar, apply make-up in the desired pattern and colour then cover with second tegadernm to prevent transfer or smear. other option is clingfilm if tegaderm not available. let us know how you got on

Cheers, great work. Thanks again. We were using this for a large number of students/candidates so it was important tomake sure it didn't come off through the day. Not being totally confident in my moulage skills or ability to acquire large sheets of tegaderm that we needed we went for a different approach. We actually printed off an image of the appropriate rash onto large sticky plastic (we used the Medical illustration department at the university to help with this). Worked very well, and, although it wasn't as realistic or neat as the above on SimBaby, it gave us a pretty consistent rash to use. This was all actually done in my absence so I've little insight into the process and can take no credit! I'll try to get a decent picture up for info.

Ian - that sounds like a good solution. We've had some success playing with DIY tattoo papers we bought from Amazon. Again, you can print off images of rashes, grazes, melanoma etc. Works pretty well.
