well that was another good course. Day one started with describing how the entire system works, from the software and start-up procedure, what's going on during the start-up procedure, how the stack senses information and utilises it, how the stack and patient interact, we went over the pneumatic subsystems and how to check and calibrate, and in some detail about how A fantastic basis on which to start troubleshooting. Day two was looking at the HPS network and troubleshooting same, calibrating the patient monitor, then looking at the fluidic system and drug recognition system. The day finished with some trouble shooting scenarios, which helped reinforce the learning we'd just had. In particular, if you know how the system works, when part of that system doesn't function as expected, you can quickly focus on the parts of that system which relate specifically to the part that isn't functioning, just like we already do with our computers or AV systems. A lot of fun was had on the course and of course even more connections made with Techs from around the country, hopefully some will drop by here and join our small community
